I am a regular donor for
WWF Malaysia. The amount I donated yearly is not much, only RM360.00 per annum and it is tax-deductible.
WWF Malaysia being an NGO, they depends on donations by public and fundraising efforts to continue saving Mother Nature. However, with the 'not-too-happy' economic predictions this year, WWF Malaysia needs more people to come on board to support their cause.
WWF Malaysia is asking people to support their cause by symbolically adopting an orang-utan, a tiger or a panda. This one time RM210.00 symbolic adoption could really make the difference between life and death for these animals.
As a thank you for adopting, donor will receive:
* a high-quality stuffed toy (20cm) - tiger/orang-utan/panda, depending on the animal you adopt
* a personalized adoption certificate - with your name printed on it
* a reusable gift bag
* information leaflets
* 4 issues of Green Heart magazines
* tax-deductible receipt
RM210.00 might be too much if you take it as one time expenses, however, it's equal to RM17.50 per month or RM0.60 per day. Just imagine saving 60 cents each day and you can help to save endangered species and habitats!

I symbolic adopt a tiger and these are the gifts I received.

Tiger - regal and threatened.
The charismatic tige has been a source of inspiration for centuries in many cultures. Today, it is one of the most threatened species with more than 90% decline in its numbers.
